Sarah Virginia Paul and James Columbus Trawick--the grandparents of my grandma, Hettie Trawick Simmons.
My grandma married her sister's husband's brother (my grandpa). Brothers from one family marrying sisters from another family is common in my family tree. It makes for one big, close family.
Then my grandpa, at age 75, married his son's wife's aunt! When the four of them go out together (my grandparents and my uncle and my aunt), they get some strange looks: my uncle and aunt call my grandparents "Daddy and Aunt Kathryn" (his daddy, her aunt). Get it?
Maybe I'll work on some family history pages after spring break.
